Moscow agencies.  Tension seems to be spreading across Europe after Russia's attack on Ukraine.  The situation is getting worse day by day.  President Vladimir Putin has instructed Russia's anti-nuclear forces to be on alert in view of rising tensions with Western countries.  Obviously, if the steps of Russia and Western countries do not move towards peace, then the situation can even reach to nuclear war.  However, efforts for reconciliation have also intensified.
  •   According to the report of the news agency AP, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has offered to mediate to end the standoff.

  •  According to news agency PTI, Russian President Putin, in a meeting with top officials on Sunday, ordered the Defense Minister and the Chief of the Military General Staff to keep anti-nuclear forces ready for war.  At the meeting, Putin emphasized that major NATO member states have made "offensive statements".  Apart from this, Ukraine and Russia have agreed to talks to end the conflict.  A statement issued by the Ukrainian President's Office said that the two sides will meet at an unspecified location on the Belarusian border.

  •  At the same time, according to the report of the news agency AP, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has offered to mediate to avoid the ongoing deadlock.  Bennett told Russian President Vladimir Putin over the phone on Sunday that Israel was ready to play the role of a mediator, according to a statement released by the Kremlin.  Although Russia has not given information whether Putin has accepted his offer or not... while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also says that he is ready for peace talks.  On the other hand, the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine is getting intensified.
